Who We Are

Who We Are

Our Culture

At Tryon we pride ourselves on being just a little different than most other beer and wine distributors.

Valued Principals

Our Difference

How are we different? Well for instance, we only sell craft beer and fine wines.  That wasn’t exactly a business model that made sense in 1985, but it has worked out well for us because we have always held two principles above all else.

Do The Right Thing

Valued Principles

Do The Right Thing

The first principle is to always do the right thing. Always. We want to do the right thing for our customers, our supplier partners, our community, and especially our employees. We are a family owned business and we consider everyone that works in and around Tryon to be a part of that family. Doing the right thing is rarely the easiest path to take, but nothing worthwhile is ever easy, is it?

Have Fun

The second principle is simply to have fun. We know, that seems like a pretty basic concept, but it has served us well over the past 38 years. To us, having fun means a lot of things, but in the end it revolves around loving what you do. When people are genuinely having fun doing what they love to do, good things tend to happen. At least that’s how we see it.
