Bodegas Viña Nora is located in the heart of the Condado do Tea wine region, a region bordering Portugal and the only inland region of the four that make up Rías Baixas.

This unique location, with granitic soils rich in boulders and with much lower rainfall than the average for the area, favors an earlier and more complete ripening of the grapes, which allows greater extraction of the full potential of the variety and an absolute expression of the land and its landscape in the wine.

The work with the Albariño variety in conditions as unique as the area in which the Viña Nora vineyards are located allows and the exclusive nature of the project conceived for limited productions, make the winery fit perfectly into the group's philosophy Avanteselecta whose central philosophy is to work with native varieties in the main wine-producing areas of Spain and in locations capable of offering exceptional results. Thus, the winery joined the group in 2002 and since then has produced three of the great Albariños that are made in Rias Baixas.
