About MOORILLA

Moorilla is one of Tasmania's oldest wineries, established in 1958 by Claudio Alcorso, an Italian textile merchant. Located on the Berriedale peninsula on the River Derwent in Hobart, it is now owned by David Walsh and is also home to the famous Museum of Old and New Art (MONA).

In addition to producing a variety of cool-climate wines (red, white, and sparkling) across three ranges (Praxis, Muse, and Cloth Label) using grapes from its estate vineyard and a northern vineyard in the Tamar Valley, Moorilla also houses a cellar door, a wine bar, and several restaurants like The Source.
