About KAVAKLIDERE

Kavaklıdere Winery was established in Ankara's Kavaklıdere district in 1929 and is the first private sector wine producer in Turkey. Having made the necessary investments in a timely manner with the equipment and consultants brought from Europe, Kavaklıdere Wines has become the leading brand of the country producing quality wines.

Over time, the fact that the Kavaklıdere district remained within the growing city made it necessary to move the vineyards and winery to a more suitable area, and in 1987, new production facilities with a capacity of 20 hectares of vineyards and 40 thousand hectoliters were established on the land purchased in Ankara-Akyurt district with updated technology.

Today, Kavaklıdere Wines has a total of 652 hectares of vineyard area in 7 different sub-regions of Aegean, Central Anatolia and Eastern Anatolia regions; It has a capacity of 19.5 million liters and carries out its production in 3 separate production facilities: Ankara-Akyurt (1987), Cappadocia-Gülşehir-Côtes d'Avanos (2003) and Ege-Kemaliye-Pendore (2005).

Kavaklıdere Wines, with its expert vineyard and production staff, continues its mission of presenting the best expression of Anatolian grapes in its vineyards in seven different regions of Turkey, while presenting noble grapes with the interpretation of Anatolian terroir.
