About CH. LESCOURS
The Château Lescours was built in 1341. His name comes from his first landlord : Pey de Lascortz, squire lord from England Edouard III (1327-1377).
Our vineyard is 8 hectares and is part of the famous label “Saint Emilion Grand Cru”. It is planted on sandy and gravelly soil, while the other 72 hectares correspond to a wetland ecosystem whose biodiversity Pierre CHARIOL is keen to preserve.
Rich in Merlot, our wines have a beautiful roundness, delicate finesse and great aromatic richness. Cabernets, on the other hand, give the wine its backbone, the basis of its structure (richness in tannins).
