Chef de Caves, Elisabeth Sarcelet, crafts these stylish wines characterized by a high percentage of Chardonnay as well as extensive lees aging. The flagship cuvée, Champagne Castelnau Brut Réserve NV, spends at least 5 years on the lees. Elisabeth’s talents have been widely acknowledged and officially so in the 2020 Drinks Business top 100 Master Winemakers of the world list: one of only 10 female winemakers to make the cut.
