About BRANDLIN
Brandlin Estate, situated on the steep slopes of Mount Veeder in Napa Valley, is renowned for its exceptional mountain-grown wines. The estate spans 120 acres, with 49 acres dedicated to vineyards, perched at elevations of over 1,250 feet above the fog line. The Brandlin family, who settled on Mount Veeder in the 1870s, were pioneers in viticulture, with Henry Brandlin planting the first vines in 1926. The winery produces a range of Bordeaux varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, alongside old-vine Zinfandel planted by the Brandlin family almost a century ago. Brandlin Estate is dedicated to sustainable practices, being Napa Green Certified and preserving 120 acres of native woodland. The unique terroir of Mount Veeder, with its high altitude, decomposed granite soils, and proximity to the cooling influence of San Pablo Bay, results in a long growing season and low yields, producing concentrated and structured grapes for Brandlin's acclaimed wines.
