Outer Banks, NC – In celebration of Earth Day, Tryon Distributing teamed up with Island Brands USA to host a beach cleanup in Kill Devil Hills. In a little under two hours, enough trash was collected to fill the bed of one employee’s pickup truck.

“At Tryon Distributing we are always trying to do the right thing, which also means doing the right thing for the environment and doing our part to help our coastal communities. It was a blast rolling up our sleeves and getting out there to pick up trash and help make a positive impact in one of our markets across the state. We are very fortunate to have so many passionate people here at Tryon, and I’m proud of what we were able to accomplish. We are hoping for an even bigger cleanup event next year due to how well this year went.” said Ed Johnston, President of Tryon.
